Next year, my daughter is pretty big for a 4.5 year old (about 45lbs and 45 inches) will require a new carseat. This seat will be for M-F 5 minutes rides from school to home.
A couple of things:
*Portability is a key: It will go in the nanny's car, however, I envision that the seat will be removed on Friday and re-installed on Monday since the car (a new-ish Toyota Camry, FWIW) belongs to the nanny.
*Not super expensive: I currently own a Britax Frontier for my own car and I love the extra sense of security of I get, even if unfounded, in a 5-point harness. However, I don't want to spend that much, plus, it doesn't feel as portable as a booster.
My daugher has riden in boosters and I trust that she has the emotional maturity to sit still in the car for 30 minutes a week.
What would you recommend?
