DD is newly 9 yrs old, 50 pounds, 53 inches.
She has outgrown the height on her Graco Turbobooster in our Jeep Wrangler.
With the booster backless, the shoulder belt is way off her shoulder. Actually closer to her elbow.
I tried with the shoulder belt adjuster strap. No go, it's still off her shoulder completely.
I tried her in just the seatbelt to see where it fits on her and it is a much better fit than with the backless booster. Knees bend at the edge of the seat, lap belt is touching her thighs, etc.
There is a huge amount of space on either side of her though. You could fit two of her side by side.
I'm not sure what to do because she is so thin. 50 pounds seems way too light to go without a booster.
We have a Nautilus in our other car that she has a tiny bit more room for the back that I can switch for the time being but it really is borderline still fitting.
Thoughts?
