DD1 currently rides in a nautilus with the harness in the 3rd row outboard in an '06 Odyssey. She is about 48" and 47lbs.
1. Is it ok to install it on the 40 side of the split seat and fold down the 60 side. It fits entirely on the seat but barely. I get a very good install(with the seatbelt since she is >40lbs). We have 3 kids and no plus 1 seat so she has to be in the 3rd row but we really need that space while moving. 2. Her head flops forward even with the seat in recline. Is there anything else I can do to help in this seat or is there a seat that would be more comfortable for her?
3. We also have an almost 4 year old who is 38 lbs FF so I like the idea of the harnesses boosters that the height can be changed while installed. He is in a nautilus normally and his head flops too. I tried him in dd2s SFCA FF today but his head still flopped sleeping and the straps rubbed his neck. I'd be ok with FF or RF him, but dd2 has an RA55 and SFCA so she won't need his as a hand me down if he outgrew a new seat quickly.
