BJCMD - is there a taller double?

I went to go check out the baby jogger city mini double this past weekend and was in love with it! It was SOOO incredibly easy to push! I could easily push it with 1 kid inside as well as two kids, no problem.
The only problem was that my 3 year 8 month old fit in it perfectly meaning his head was touching the canopy. He is by no means tall but i did do his measurements...
he is 39 inches tall and from bum to top of head he is 22 inches.
Is there another double stroller like this one that is slightly taller? I want to get one more year out of the new double stroller that i buy?
I think that this stroller will become small for him by january and he probably wouldn't be able to use it thereafter.
(my other child is 16 months old)

I cant understand how five year old and six year olds can fit into this stroller

I also tried out the maclaren techno double and while i liked that it came with cupholders it was NOT easy to push with two kids inside.. not at all like the baby jogger one...

I have the classic baby jogger double and my 5.5 year old who is 48ish inches tall since can sit in it, her head is right at the top.

Maybe the classic has a taller seat?

Okay . . . mine has a 10in seat depth, 21.5in seat back and it is 26in from the seat bottom to the canopy where my dds head would start hitting.

This sounds nice and tall like the micro! I don't see the classic on BJ's comparison chart so I'm assuming it has been discontinued. Okay, I found some pics online. Is it the predecessor to the elite. It looks similar and the elite has a tall seat. What is the advantage of the classic over the elite? Is the classic as heavy?

I think they sold the Elite when I bought mine (in 2006) but it had a few more bells and whistles. The Elite and the Classic are similar enough that they kept one and phased out the other I think.

My Classic is not a overly heavy imo but not super lite either. Folds and unfolds quickly and easily though so that makes up for it not being super light and mine still pushes like a dream, even with 85lbs of kids in it. I use it all the time and the kids love it. I don't think I could switch to the micro though because I love how the seats go almost all the way flat for napping on my Classic.
