Best inexpensive convertible seat?

I am looking at a seat to use while visiting family. We will probably be bringing our Radian (maybe a coccoro, still deciding) but we frequently switch cars and/or ride with my sister when we are there and I think it would be easier to have a second seat available. I would like an inexpensive convertible, since my dd is still rear facing. Anything I buy will likely be passed on to a child that needs a seat.

I was looking at the Evenflos, the tribute or the titan. My dd is 2 1/2, 22ish pounds and 33 inches. Recommendations?

I hate the avenue install. It requires pool noodles RF. Technically it is outgrown at 36" even though I made the parental decision to ignore that (it's a spare we leave at my parents' house so it gets used a max of 4 weeks per year).

I'd be concerned with the DOM on them as I believe Safety 1st stopped mAking them.

If I had to do it all over again I'd have just gotten a MR65 on sale and maybe used some target cards from credit card points...

ETA: my dd hit 36" at 31m.

Thanks for the input. I have a MR65 that I really like but we will be putting 5 seats in my sister's Tahoe so we may need something narrower. The Myride might be tall enough to puzzle under though.

I am not terribly concerned about DOM for myself, but that is something to consider if I end up passing it on.
