Best car seat for 2008 Ford Edge

I am wanting to buy my daughter a car seat for Christmas. She will be 1 on jan11th 2014. I own a 2008 Ford edge (primary car we drive) and a 2006 Mazda 3. I am trying to find a safe car seat that will for both vehicles. I want one that will grow with her. As of right now she is in the 50% for growth and height. She is approx 20 pounds today. Any suggestions would be great.

Hi and welcome! I wanted to bump your thread, because I'm not familiar with your vehicle, so I'm not sure which convertible seat will work best. Are you looking to keep it primarily installed in the Ford Edge and occasionally move it into the Mazda 3? Or do you need a seat for each vehicle? If you wanted to share your budget, that would be helpful for more recommendations.

Some convertibles that you may want to research include the Evenflo SureRide, the Graco My Ride & the Graco Headwise/Size4Me/My Size 70, and the Britax convertibles (Marathon, Boulevard, etc.), and there a number of others that might be worth looking into, as well.
