Awesome! Thanks, everyone. I swear I've had to pay for one in the past. I shall be hitting up my Ford dealer soon :).

The Ford ones are BSCs and yes they are free. I get them 200 at a time from the local dealer, but I have to talk them around to giving me that many.

Here is a step by photo shoot I posted awhile back in my album.

I greatly appreciated that album when I had to put one in my friend's Expedition middle row center! I wasn't a tech yet, but knew she desperately needed one. I studied it hard, went to her house and installed it, came home and looked at it again to ensure I did it right. ;)

I'm grumbling pretty hard that she told me she took it off.....

So I just had a chance to look at those, and I had to go look at the collection of locking clips my DH has gotten me. He's a car detailer at a used lot and often finds them under seats, foot mats, and who knows where else. Not to mention the toys, and whatnot else. I think I may actually have a couple that are BSC's. I'm gonna have to look at other model numbers though, they aren't Ford's

BSCs are significantly thicker, heavier, and usually shinier than locking clips.

Yep, 2 of them are probably about twice as heavy, much shiner, and actually have numbers and letters printed on them, rather than a triangle that is on all the others.
