It finally happened.after 34 months of use, we were driving to church, i get out of the car, go to unbuckle the toddler, aaand.... get back into the front seat and drive home. Ugh! No warning at all. Didn't hear it happen. his brother sitting next to him didn't say anything. So I got the cover removed (not looking forward to getting that beast back on, it was so secure!) and now i'm seriously wondering if its okay to just hose off the straps outside? its a nice day, should dry fast. would rather not just smear the puke bits deeper into the straps with a wet wash cloth. the hose seems like a good idea but i thought i'd check here to make sure i'm not missing something in case i'm about to do something i'll regret 
i figure avoid the eps foam with the spray since it seems kinda fragile.
