Argos 70 vs Recaro Prosport

It is me or does the buckle on the Nautilus/Argos70 seem difficult and weak?

Maybe I am just used to my marathon.....

I'm trying to decide between the Recaro Prosport and the Argos 70.

Is it the same buckle they put on their other seats? The little round one with the small button? I hate that one, but I know some like it.

I have a ProSport and love it. It has the buckles like the Britax seats (IMMI?) and is the easiest for my 5 year old DS to buckle himself. I'm neutral on its open belt path. I think I prefer a closed belt path, but it doesn't bother me that this one is open. I did get the wedge to fill the space made by the LATCH strap or seatbelt. I don't like the 52lb limit on the top tether, and will use it over that limit if the need arises, but Gage will probably be boostered before he hits 52lbs, so it should be a non-issue for us.

I LOVE the open belt path on the ProSport! Since we don't have LATCH I install with the seatbelt and it just goes so quick with the open belt path.

My 5.5 yr old DS can't work the buckle on the MR65 but does fine with his ProSport.
