Anyone know when HipMonkey is shipping the Frontier 85?

I ordered one over the weekend and their site said shipping March 22. So I thought they must be in stock then I started reading some threads from people who had been waiting on their carseats. I sent them an email asking when it would ship and still haven't heard back. I really wanted the seat for this weekend and could get it that fast from Diapers.com, but want to cancel my order from hipmonkey first. I'm just starting to get annoyed that I haven't heard anything from them.

If you want the seat for this weekend, I'd cancel from hipmonkey! Last week (4-12) they said it was at least a 2 week wait before they got their next shipment from Britax. They really need to keep their customers updated on this info. I canceled my order from hipmonkey and placed my order thru diapers.com and had it 2 days later.

Thanks. Looks like diapers.com is matching the hipmonkey discount, so that's the way to go. I really wanted to support hipmonkey, but am really annoyed that they haven't gotten back to me.

I emailed with the owner last week before ordering mine elsewhere - she said it depends how many they get & how many people are 'ahead' of me on the ordering list. So if they have 50 people waiting & only get 25 seats, then the others have to wait for the next shipment.

I was told as soon as 2 weeks, or as many as 6! Thats why I went with diapers.com instead - I had it the next day & only spent $15 more (because I had to pay tax)

Thanks. Just cancelled with hipmonkey. They never got back to me so I still don't know where I would fall on the waiting list. Since diapers.com price matched and I'm a new customer I was able to get the seat for the same price as I would have paid with hipmonkey, even though I have to pay sales tax. It was $201 for the seat -- what a great deal. If only I didn't live NY and have to pay another $20 for sales tax. Still a very, very good deal at $222, including a pack of diapers! Oh and I will have it Thursday!!!
