I will probably not be much help, but we have had a Nautilus installed in 2 Silverados and it worked fine. Right now we have a 2007 but it's a crew cab, and we have 2 Nauti's - one drivers and one center. When we had an extended cab it was a 1997, and we had it driver's side because we only had 2 kids then. I'm sure it would've fit in the center in that truck, but it is much older than your 2003 and I don't know the difference in the body styles. My hubby would for sure know though!

If you have a Babies R Us nearby, they will let you try a seat in your vehicle if you give them your driver's license. I would imagine they carry the Nautilus. Or order from a place with a good return policy.

We had a 2004 Chevy silverado. It had a bench seat in back with the small half doors. I installed a GN a couple times in the center. DD was about 2yo. There wasn't much room between her seat and the front seats but it was possible.

That sounds just like ours. We are going to take the truck to BRU today and play with seats and see how our DD fits in them and how they fit in the truck and get what works best.

Yep, DH has a 2001 Silverado but its an extended cab but the Natui fit great back there in the middle seat we cant put anything behind the drivers seat becahse DH is so tall he has to have his seat all the way back leaving literally no room for someone to put their feet especially in a car seat....but it fit great center and passenger outboard

We ended up not liking the Nauti at all. It pushed DD's head so far forward that even DH was like, no that isn't working. We liked how she fit in the Maestro but she complained about the straps hurting her neck so I am worried about that. I don't want to buy a second Frontier 85 if I can help it but I also don't want her hurting when she rides in Daddy's truck.
