Beautiful fall day yesterday (sunny, low 70's).
Took my bike out for a ride and about 3/4 of mile back from the turn around and head for home point, I blew my rear tire.
Walked back to the trail head and locked my bike [You know how many phone numbers I used to have memorized but don't anymore because I have them programmed into my phones? I know, I know, why didn't you TAKE the cell phone?] . . .
Long walk [several blisters - don't go there ] later, I arrive back at the trail head and load my bike into the car. Today it was supper time before I got to the bike shop to have it repaired.
What did I worry about all day? That someone would think I was sacrificing my kid for my bike: I had the CR buckled into the front seat like a booster. The seat was forward so I could fold the rear seats down for the bike. It really doesn't fit on seat - doesn't sit flat and there's a huge gap between the seat and the CR. [BTW - I only occasionally have child passengers, but I just leave the seat installed].
Yeah, that's a CPS freak - worried that I'm setting a bad example for the passers by.
