DD's class is going to the pumpkin patch next week. It's about 30 minutes each way. There are 22 kids in her class, along with 3 teachers and assorted parents who want to come along (including myself). They're renting a full-size Laidlaw school bus. I've been told by the teacher that they have seat belts.
It's been a few years since I did the school bus certification thru Safe Kids. I can't for the life of me remember the rules. I know compartmentalization only really "works" for a average size Kindergartner.
Question is DD is about 35 lbs. There are a few in her class who are smaller (both height and weight) than her. Should I bring a harness seat? Or a booster? Or nothing, since it is a giant school bus and they are incredibly safe?
