Question 3 carseats

Hi.

As of September, I will have the following "crew" in the car with me:

newborn infant
2.5 year old (36 inches tall, 32 pounds)
5 year old (42 inches tall, 45 pounds)

Our first car is a 2008 Honda Odyssey. Is there a way I can put the 3 kids in the second row? I know the middle seat of the 2nd row has no anchor system....can I still use it? with a booster seat, perhaps (for the 5 year old)?

Our second car is a 2003 Mercedes E300. Can we fit 3 seats across the back of this car? If so, which ones? 3 Radians?

Does your van's second row have 3 seatbelts? If so then you could feasibly put three seats there - if there's only 2 seatbelts though, then it won't work. I'm not sure about the Mercedes - Most cars can handle three seats in the back, but sometimes they need to be narrow, like Radians - There's a successful radian install thread around here somewhere, I'll try to find it for you.

If you have 3 seatbelts then I don't see why it shouldn't work. I've heard that the Radian does install in the Odyssey but i'm not sure what years they are.

What seats do you currently have?

Radians are usually the easiest to do 3 across but I have done 3 across in an Accord with 2 Marathons and a Radian as well as a MA a RN and a SS1. Here is a 3 across thread that you could go through to see if you come up with anything.
