3 across with a Nautlius and 2 snugrides

We have a 2005 Acura TL, and need to fit a Nautilus, and 2 Snugride 30's in the back. Do we need to buy another booster/combination like a Radian or can we make this work? We're expecting 2 boys this August, and don't want to sell the car. Our daughter is 5, and not ready for the front. Thanks for helping.

How heavy is your five year old? The Radian should work well, then you can pass it down to one of the babies rear facing in a year or so.

In my state it's illegal to sit in the front before 13 years old. The recommendations for kids across the board are 13 or older in the front. So yes, she's not ready for the front yet. Not even halfway there yet.

She is approxiamtely 65 pounds. I have been trying like heck to get the Nautilus to work in the center, but with the cup holder sticking out the snugrides won't fit. I thought I might try an outboard position, but will probably invest in a radian.

is she using the nautilus in booster or harness mode? harness only goes to 65 lb

Have you tried the graco out board? Put the cup.holder next to the door and then snug rides next to each other? Also using seat belts will give you more room.

ok, well she is pretty heavy for a 5 year old. Is she also very tall?? And have you actually weighed her, or are you guesstimating? Because that is frequently pretty off.
If she is truly 65 pounds, as has been said, you need to use the nauti in booster mode, and if you are going to use a booster, you can probably just get a much smaller/narrower one.
