Price Check 2006 Marathon

I'm hoping to sell one of my MA's on Facebook or Craigslist and I need pricing help, please.

Granite MA manufactured 11/03/06. Has belly pad and harness covers. One broken rear-facing lock-off. Excellent condition overall, very clean (grandma's car).

I was thinking brand new price $180 ÷ 6 year expiry = $2.50/month x 31 months life left = $77.50

So what should I ask for, maybe $70? It just seems kind of high for a used carseat and I'm not sure whether anyone will go for it. What do you think?

I think you would be lucky to get $50 for it on craigslist. I always get low-balled on CL.

Depends on the area you live in.

I listed my Frontier (13 months old) for $160 and got offers left and right for $50.

If it were mine, i'd list it for $75, but would take $60 for it.

I think you need to take off a little for the broken lockoff, and the fact that as an older model, the RF limit is lower than a new one.

I also personally think that you should always take off at least 10% right off the bat when calculating the cost, to account for the fact it is NOT NEW. It might not be fair, but as they say, as soon as you drive the car off the lot, it's value drops. When I'm buying something used, I expect to have the price discounted not only by the portion of the item that is "used" but also simply for the fact that is IS used, does that make sense?
So..I think 50-60 is probably a good asking price.
