2 install questions

1. Can you use a pool noodle with an rf Pria? I can't find my manual.

2. My parents don't like the Diono they have. I gave them our APt 40, and was going to put the diono in my 99 Nissan Sentra. This is a third vehicle, only used in emergencies, and will be sold in a few months, but I figured I'd throw it in there for now rather than shoving it in a closet. The car doesn't have latch. I tried to install rf in center but its lap only and seems incompatible because the buckle stalk placement prevents me from being able to tighten the seat belt. Am I right in thinking this seat is not compatible with the car?

We had a 99 Altima and, though we used a Radian, I was never super comfortable with the installation. I wouldn't be surprised if your seatbelts are identical to what I had.

Have you tried outboard?

You can twist the "female" end of the buckle (the buckle stalk) up to 3 full times to move it down away from the belt path a bit. Alternatively, you can have the buckle completely within the belt path and still have an acceptable installation. The problem comes if the buckle ends up at the bend of the belt path, if that makes sense.

Thank you for your replies. I forgot about twisting the buckle stalk. It's not a rigid stalk. Currently the buckle ends right at the bend in the belt path, but hopefully twisting it will fix that.

It definitely won't fit outboard. It barely fits in the middle.

If I try that and it's not a good install than I'll just put it in the closet for now until we need it. It feels wrong to have such an expensive seat sitting in the closet...but oh well.
