Hello all -
I have a three year old foster child who is 56 lbs & 44 inches. She rides in a Britax Decathlon in my car and my mom's car. I have the straps as loose as they go and she's fine as long as she doesn't wear a coat in the car. My mom is really bothered by that at wants to get her a booster but she doesn't sit still or listen and I don't think she's safe in a booster. What would be the best seat to keep her harnessed longer?
Also, I have been using a Britax Marathon as a second seat but between fostering & helping friends and family, I feel like I am rethreading the harness straps every day!! Can anyone recommend a good car seat that is safe, has a lot of flexibility, preferably has high weight limits, and the strap heights can be adjusted without rethreading?
I have a Honda Accord in case that makes a difference.
