Question 1997 isuzu hombre truck - Canada

I'm in a bit of a vehicle bind (regular vehicle broke down and must take 6mo DD out tomorrow) and just need confirmation that the following is okay: my husbands vehicle is a 97 Isuzu hombre, essentially a Chevy S10, with no passenger airbag. Is it legal to install DD's rf convertible (evenflo symphony) car seat in the passenger side in the front. Backseat only has unusable sideways facing jumpseats.

Hi! Mostly bumping your thread, but I would be comfortable with it as long as there is no airbag and that you can get a good install!
