Is it still a lap-only belt? (regular cab, no backseat)

Does the passenger side airbag disable?

Curious because the daddysaurus is looking to buy a work truck, but might have both kids once in a while & babysaurus can't go RF center.

Chevy won't let you install a carseat in the middle of the front bench. So, if he will have 2 kids with him, buy a ford. Ford always you to put a carseat there.

My 9 yr old is really tall & only needs her booster in deeply contoured bucket seats or during long commutes (helps prevent her messy motion sickness). I'm confident she'll be fine in the center as long as it has a shoulder belt -?- although I do wish it had adjustable head support too.

Does the front passenger airbag manually disengage or is it on a sensor like Ford? My Freestar sensor was constantly turning off the airbag for me when I sat passenger (without wiggling) so I've never been very trusting of the sensor.

Also, good news is his credit is better than he thought (buying the truck to improve it more so we can buy a house too) so he's considering the extended cab . . . is this one of those trucks where the back doesn't offer enough room for RF convertible seat? I'm not opposed to going Swedish with RF convertible upfront assuming airbag turns off, leaving me & my 9 yr old in the back ... just wanna know before we bother making the drive to test it out.

Thanks!
