Hi, we own a 2011 Suburban. 6 kids ages 8, 11, 11, 13, 15, 16 (11yo are not twins). The problem is that neither center position of the middle or rear seats have headrests. Either the 2 youngest have to ride in the center with no booster or the older kids ride with their heads way above the back of the seat. Neither are options I like. I saw one thread that discussed adding a headrest, but it mostly discussed changing car seat positions. I would like to explore adding headrests to the seats so it's easier to allow anyone to sit in any position with the exception of my 16yo as he is 5'10" & the headrests in the rear row don't go up that far. Not really sure what Chevy was thinking, but this surely could be improved upon.
Anyway, has anyone added headrests? I know the rear seat is split, but I'm thinking as long as we remove the headrest prior to folding the split bench then it shouldn't be a problem (we very rarely do this as we fill the truck with people).
TIA!
