I don't know what the "proper" way to clean it is, but I had an orange and gray (VERY light gray) Volo and the my canopy was always a mess, too from the wheels hitting it when it was folded. I used one of those tide pens - not the bleach kind and it took a few times (put it on, let it dry, marks were still there, did it again - probably 3 or 4 times), but they stains did eventually come out completely. Was a total PIA, but it worked. Granted, I wasn't on top of it and the marks were pretty bad and were there for at least a year before I even tried cleaning it, so maybe if they were "newer" stains, they would have come out easier.

Maybe try cleaning it in the tub? Warm water, oxy clean, a little laundry detergent- let it soak for a while, then scrub at it with a wash cloth or soft brush. Rinse and repeat until clean? That's probably what I would do, since the cover doesn't come off the canopy frame.

I have the same problem with my Triumph and I used Windex and a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Then a damp cloth to get the white crumbles from the Magic Eraser. Worked like a charm. Water, Windex (I use the clear one to prevent tinting what I am cleaning blue) and Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is my cleaning weapons of choice. I actually just cleaned up a Zapp I bought from CL and it looks brand new.

HTH.

I put the one from my Quest in the washer:eek: I have a front loader and did it on the hand wash cycle and sat out to dry. Looks like new!

I do most stroller hoods (and car seat shades) the same way-- soak in the tub with OxyClean or Clorox 2, scrub with an old toothbrush, rinse, soak in clear water, scrub again, rinse again, spot treat as necessary. Hang to drip-dry.

Ugh, this is on my "to-do" list! lol.. We haven't used it in a LONG time and stopped using the canopy after 2-3 uses because I realized how dirty it gets!
