I live in Canada
now if I got to Target in Seattle and purchase the graco travel system melbourne is that okay? it came with Graco® SnugRide® Infant Car Seat

is the car seat requirements the same between canada and us for Graco® SnugRide® Infant Car Seat ??

It's illegal to use a US carseat in Canada.

By all means, buy yourself a stroller in the US, but you'll need to buy the carseat in Canada.

:yeahthat: Like Nicole said, its illegal to use a US car seat in Canada. If someone were to use an American seat here, they can be ticketed and it can cause problems with insurance in the event of an accident. Also, there is a real possibility of a US seat being confiscated at the border when you try to bring it into Canada. All in all, its just not worth it. There are lots of good Canadian seats to choose from.

April and Nicole already covered why you can't buy your seat in the States but have you considered this travel system that way your seat is certified to use in Canada. The infant seat is rated 5-32 lbs.
