Target has the Graco Comfortsport on clearance for $50. It's more padded than the Scenera, but from what I have learned from this site, it's not going to last long for rf or ff, is it? For the same price, does the Scenera have higher harness slots and taller shell?

My DH will eventually need an inexpensive seat in his car. I want our kids to ERF and extended harnessed too.

The Scenera may last longer, but the CS has foam and more padding.

Can you get an Avenue or Uptown? That will last longer than the Scenera or CS, and has the foam. It will take you most of the way through ERFing, if not all the way to 35 pounds.

it lasts about as long as an infant seat rearfacing, and most kids will outgrow it forward facing around 3. The Scenera will last longer, and if you can swing it the Safety 1st Avenue will last longest, and is more padded.

The Scenera is also an easier install RF as compared to the CS--the CS shifts out of position in some cars and requires constant monitoring :(

Oh yes, we could spend enough to get an Avenue or Uptown. But, then I might spend a little more and get a 50 pound seat!

I wish wish wish I would have gotten the woot truefit for $100.
