Which would be easier to fly with...

Reagan (who will be 15 and 16 months old) in a Britax Boulevard with the GoGoKidz wheel attachment

AND

Liam (1 month and 2 months during flights)

a) SafeSeat 1 infant car seat and stroller frame (note that the straps on this car seat need to be replaced)

*OR*

b) Radian 65/80/XT worn as a backpack and baby in a carrier (so no stroller needed and free hands)

*OR*

c) Something else.

I realize the Radian wouldn't fit RFing on the plane, but can switch the baby to the Britax on the plane (even though it's pink ).

Also, the first flight I will be flying with another adult. The flight home I am still unsure if I will be flying with my husband or alone with the two kids, so that can factor into the suggestions.

What about the Radian and the SS1?

Nevermind, just read your siggy. I'd probably do the Boulevard and the SS1. Both need to be rear facing, so that eliminates the Radian. I don't know if they'll fit next to one another on planes, though. But if you have another adult you can split up and sit in front of one another. On the way home if you don't I guess it'll just have to work out. :)

I'd definitely take the SS1 for the baby. That a snap-in stroller is the EASIEST way to transport a car seat through an airport. (And if you want to sling the baby, you could probably fit the 16 month old in the SS1 while in the airport. For putting in the stroller, I wouldn't mind if a child had outgrown the seat.

(but you will need to replace the straps)
