Can anyone tell me the best way of doing this? Shame airlines don't have latch! I would just like to have it clear in my mind before I hold up a full flight trying it out...

You, er, put the belt through the appropriate belt path, buckle it, and tighten.

If you have a vehicle seat with a lap-only seatbelt location, you could pratice- it's really about the easiest installation on the planet, I think, though I've only done it forward-facing.

It is NOT easy rear-facing. well, at least, not to get installed correctly. Even the tech I took it too broke fingernails trying to get it installed tight rear-facing in my (non-LATCH) car.

We traveled with the Scenera alot through his first 18 months(when he outgrew it!) and I didn't have too much trouble installing it on a plane. One tip I have is to recline the plane's seat, run the belt through the belt path, buckle, tighten, then return the plane seat to the upright position.

It's really very simple on a plane. I didn't recline the seat at all, just tightened. Remember that the seatbelt has different rules than the LATCH strap as to where they're threaded in relation to the crotch buckle on the Scenera.
