Buckle sticking on britax first class

For the last week or so it's been hard getting the buckle to click on my sons carseat. I've usually managed it after a few tries but yesterday we were setting off and it wouldn't click in at all. I ended up using his infant carrier. Any idead or should I ring britax? Thanks

Ps my son is 13 months, 19lbs 9oz and RF

They'll recommend that you take it off the seat, and soak it in water and/or water with a bit of washing liquid (neutral, non-acidic, no chemicals) for a bit. Then you rinse it off, let it dry, and reinstall it. It should be fine. 99% of the time the problem is that over time something has gotten into the buckle and is obstructing.
