The LATCH manual has a list but it's looong. Is there a particular car you're interested in? Or even a make of vehicle?

Not really...the few cars I've looked at already don't have center LATCH, so I'm trying to build a list of cars to go look at (all 2009 model year or 2010 if they're out in the summer).

(all 2009 model year or 2010 if they're out in the summer).

Worth noting -

According to the LATCH manual, all model year 2009 Ford/Lincoln/Mercury vehicles "allow use of inner bars for installation if CR instructions explicitly allow it." So if your car seat allows borrowing of center anchors (when there's not a dedicated set of center anchors) then you can install with LATCH in the center in these vehicles.

On the flip side, all General Motors/GMC/Pontiac/Buick/Cadillac/Chevrolet/Hummer vehicles do NOT allow borrowing of center anchors, regardless of whether your car seat allows it. So unless there is a dedicated set of center anchors, you can't install with LATCH in the center of these vehicles. (This is a change from previous statements from GM, and it IS retroactive.)

That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks!! Guess that's why I wasn't finding it through search -- needed to search for 3 LATCH positions rather than center LATCH! :p

I have a Mazda 6 and it has anchor bars across the back seat and it has a center anchor bar for the top of the carseat in each seat. (3)

What a great ? as I've wondered this too. I have an 06 Hyundai Sonota, but the manual does say not to use the outboard latch for middle placement, so I have her on the passenger side since my car does have side & head curtain airbags. But I've wondered this a lot & might be looking to trade in a year or two. Thanks for the list!

I have a Saturn Vue and it has LATCH for three carseats in the back (3 sets of LATCH, 6 LATCH Bars total plus three teether Latches on back of seats)

So some GM cars do have three sets.

Yes, GM cars that have 3 sets allow it-- what is not allowed is borrowing the outboard anchors for a center installation in GM cars.

Also, most cars will have 3 tether anchors. The tether anchor can be used with seatbelt for a forward-facing seat in the center position, even if lower anchors cannot be used in that position.

That's a nice feature of the 2002-2007 model year Saturn Vues and one that GM sadly did away with in the redesigned '08 and newer Vues. '08 and newer Vues have outboard sets of lower LATCH anchors only. Still 3 top tether anchors (as required by FMVSS) but no more center LATCH beyond the '07 Vue model year. And possibly no more Saturns depending on how the whole GM economic situation pans out (I'm a former multiple Saturn owner who is saddened to see what has happened to the brand over the years and I'll get off my maudlin soapbox now, sorry).
