I bought a Zooper Zydeco

I'm nuts, I know. You don't have to tell me. I just can't help myself with some of this baby stuff. At least when our baby gets here we'll be prepared.

I've been looking for a reversible seat stroller with air tires that I can take for walks in the neighborhood with Coty (hi Coty!) and on trails and such. I found a used once or twice Zooper Zydeco on CL at a consignment shop for a steal so I headed over there today to look at it.

Holy mother this thing is a beast.

I love that it has a reversible seat, and a full (I mean 180 degree full) recline. The canopy is enormous and goes all the way down to the bumper bar. The footrest is adjustable, 3 positions. The front wheel swivels and is supposed to lock but I can't get it to work. The handle is loooong but it would easily accomodate an older child on a buggy board. The fold is also pretty big but it'll fold smaller if you take out the seat. I wanted to take it for a spin today so I put my dog in it so I didn't look like a nut with an empty stroller. (Although is a dog in a stroller worse? I dunno.)

Here it is. The seat is in the RF position and the canopy is all the way extended but with the back zipped off for better air flow.

Wheeeee!!! I had a great time going with you to get it! I think the saleslady thought we were both nuts, though. :blush: Pardon us for being stroller/carseat dweebs. Anyway, I think Fenway looks adorable in it, and I can't wait to see your baby in it(soon, soon, SOON I hope!)!!!

Cool! I almost got one when I had dd1. But it was just too heavy, and we couldn't figure out how to fold it. So I got a Baby Jogger City Series instead

Oh, very cool. My indoor stroller has a reversible handle so I can face baby, but my all-terrain one for taking on walks or to the park doesn't. Very nice.
