Vehicle Recall Help

How do I find out if my vehicle has had a recall issue fixed?

I'm not the original owner and I've never gotten any recall work done. However, after wrestling with the LA on my '01 Montana today I came here to search if anyone had similar problems. I saw several posts mentioning that the '01 Montana had a recall for the LA because they were too large. I've installed with LATCH in several vehicles and this one has the largest LA I've ever seen, so I'm guessing it hasn't been fixed.

Just call a dealer for the make of your car and have your vin # ready. They'll be able to tell you whether the recall has been done or not.
