HELP: Outgrowing Marathon?

My 4.55 Y/O 43.5 lbs DD, seems to be very close to outgrowing her Marathon.

I cannot for the life of me measure the seats top harness out at 17 inches, unless I take the cover off and measure it.

With her sitting in the seat, and using a finger nail file sticking out from the top harness slot, she's got 1/2 inch from being level with the slot.

She's grown 1/2 inch since May. It was late spring when I had to move her from the 3rd set of harness slots to the top set.

How long do you think I can expect to get out of the Marathon for her?

I got 18 months out of our top slot...from age 4.5 to about 6. Of course, I had to buy a lot of longer pairs of pants during that time... dd's shirts fit much longer than jeans...so I guess the inches she put on were all in her ankles, lol.
I'd guess you still have 6-12 months, really :)

I'd say about the same, especially at 4.5 when a lot of growth happens in the legs, not in the torso. Keep an eye on it, but I wouldn't go rushing out today to buy a seat to have in the wings. You may have it sitting for 6-12 months or more not being used.

Just watch it closely. Every child is different, so it is hard to predict how your little one will grow.

While most children seem to slow down in torso growth, some do not. I would just keep an eye out...
