I think adult content probably covers language. If you can't handle language, you can't handle content. Adult language IS adult content.

You'd think. But I want to sufficiently warn the folks who have no issues discussing all sorts of adult topics, but can't handle a cuss word or two.

Then they just need to man up :)

I can't get the language thing, anyway. You don't like the word, but you know it exists and reading it won't scar you for life. You didn't learn or get exposed to anything. However, in content, {adult content deleted by moderator}, well, that just kinda puts an image in my head and skeeves me out and it will never go away. I didn't know about it before, and now I do, and I should have had the option not to be grossed out by petting zoos forever.

I have no problem discussing intimate relations, anatomical and medical problems, marital issues. However, I do have a problem reading nasty language. Not a big one, but it's not comfortable and I prefer not to. I have both personal and religious reasons for being bothered by it. Can I deal with it? Yes, and do. Would I prefer to be warned? You betcha. Do I usually find it's an issue? Not so much. Most people self-censor to a degree that what does slip through causes me mostly momentary discomfort. (At least here...)
