Sorry, I know, more pics of seats everyone’s seen… but I’m just so excited!! LOL
They’ve been sitting at the house for 3 days and I haven’t had time to play with them until now!! They haven't quite made it to the final installation phase, because I’m still getting through the manuals, but we sized them and tried them on in the house this evening.
For starters, I can tell you right now, the HUGS gotta go on the BLVD till I turn it FF'ing and have to put them back on. Belly pad too. It's just too much stuff behind the straps and it makes it impossible to tighten. Once he gets taller and there's more strap to work with, the HUGS shouldn't be a problem.
After looking at the pictures, it appears that the headrest could be lower on the BLVD... but the straps do fall below his shoulders, and they don't adjust independent of each other. But I could probably still move them down *just* a smidge…
DS in the BLVD with the infant pillow. We won't need to use it, but I like the way it looks. It makes it more cowmoo-y. lol
DS in the BLVD without the infant pillow.
DD wanted to try the BLVD, so I adjusted it to the highest possible setting and was surprised to find it fit - but barely! The straps are right at or slightly above her shoulders.
And the tops of her ears are just barely below the top of the seat shell. It would definitely be time to move her to a new seat, had this one been hers. But it's good to see she could have potentially gotten about 5 1/2 years of use out of it, which would pretty much put us to expiration depending on the DOM in comparison to when we actually got it! She's nowhere near 65 lbs, though... Does anyone ever actually make it to 65 lbs??
And finally, DD in her new Frontier
Thanks for humoring me!! lol
