I know, I know...I'm driving y'all nuts. Am I buying the right ones?

I'm currently waiting on an inside line for a discount code at amazon (family works there sssshhhhhh). I told myself I wouldn't spend more than 200 on both a booster and a new convertible for my girls because the Como convertible and Vivo booster had such a great sale on. Then I decided that I really should get the Monterey for my 7 year old. So, I do feel 100% confident in that seat. As for my 3 year old, I have decided on the Trufit after going back and forth between it, the Como, and a EFTA. But, I can spend more now than I thought. So if you could spend more would you? I mean the TruFit seems to be popular. DD is 25 lbs and 33.5 inches. Not sure on her torso height, but she's small, obviously and pretty evenly proportioned. I'm leaving her RF'ing because, well... I can.

So, I guess when it comes to convertibles...if you could go up to 300 for the seat, would you still get the TruFit?

I would still get the True Fit. It's what I'm planning on getting for our baby in the fall, and it'll be the cheapest convertible seat I've ever bought.

My DH starts at Amazon a week from Monday. :) We leave for Seattle next Saturday.

For me it is never about the price tag. Actually each time I have gone carseat shopping all I looked at was features, and fit with child and my vehicle. I didn't even look at the cost until I went to pay for it.

So to answer your question No. If the TrueFit meets the criteria of fitting your child and vehicle well then just be excited that your saved yourself some money!

I'd still get the TF. It's just plain awesome. Plus you know your baby likes it.
That's true...she does like it. It's the soft seat, as she calls it. It does have all the features I would look for in a seat I guess I just wanted to double, triple...quadruple check while I'm in limbo waiting on the discount code, lol.

I would buy it again but probably in a different pattern. That would cost me more money. I love the mariposa marathon but I think it would get to dirty and the true fit would last me longer.

I would still get the truefit, too... the extra leg room is great for rearfacing kids and there isn't a taller shell out there.

I also think the shoulder room is much better, since the recaro is so slim in the inside shoulder room.

As for the vivo vs. monterey... I would vote the Monterey if you have the space... because I love how deep and adjustable it is, how it latches in, and how the cupholders actually work.
