Question Can the Avenue touch the front seat RFing?

Thanks for your help on my other thread. :)

Now that I have the Avenue I'm still worried about getting it installed because it's so tall. I was told in the other thread that it doesn't have to be at a 45 degree recline, and I did some searching and found that 30 is the minimum recline. (FYI DD is 2 years and 3 months, and 30lbs.) But whether I put it in the center or outboard, it may touch the front seats. I have seen other threads saying other seats are not to touch the front seat, but the Avenue's manual does not mention whether this is okay or not. If I have the front seats completely out of the way while installing the car seat, and the car seat is solid, is it okay for it to touch when I roll the front seats back to their normal positions? DH (primary driver) is so tall that if I install it center, she's probably going to touch the driver's seat no matter what; but I may be able to install it with a proper recline without touching the passenger seat if it's in that outboard position...

DH has the car right now so I won't be able to install it for about two hours.

I believe evenflo is the only company that disallows it. It should be fne as long as the manual does not say not to do it.

It's allowed if your vehicle also allows the child restraint to touch the front seat/front seatbacks and you would need to check the owner's manual for the vehicle. Some vehicles with advanced frontal airbags do not allow touching due to the airbag sensors.
