I have decided to sell DD outgrown Gernerations locally but I'm nt sure what to ask for it? it's 2 years old and of course well taken care of properly.

The way it was suggested to me was to use a formula such as this :

Price of seat new : (eg. 120)
Divided by 6 (total life span) : (eg. 20/year)
Multiply by useable life span left : (eg. 4 yrs * 20 = 80)

So - for a new in box seat that would be $120 new, but only has 4 years use left, you could reasonably ask $80.

Then deduct for use and condition.

How about, take a look at what the seat sells for now, divide that by the number of years the seat is good for, then take that number x 2 (your seat has 2 years less before it expires) and subtract if off the cost of the new one. That would at least give you a starting point.

I figured it out and..

$140 / 6yrs = $23.33 * 4 = $93.32
I might just ask $80, I think?
