Finding my Posts

Hi,

How can I go find all my previous posts? I find I am always having to search for them. Nothing comes up under subscribed threads, even though I have made posts.

you have to change your settings to automatically subscribe to all threads you start or post in. Or you can manually subscribe to individual threads you want to follow. To manually subscribe as you're posting, go to the advanced reply area and there's an option under the text box where you can choose what type of notification you want. To subscribe after you've posted (or without posting at all in order to follow an interesting thread), you can choose subscribe from the thread tools drop down found at the top of the first post in each thread- or the post at the top of the page for longer threads.

To find all posts you've made, click on your screen name in any post of yours and choose "find all posts". You can also find it under the statistics tab of your public profile.

to search for a specific post, you can go to search in the forum toolbar and select advanced search. From there you can narrow it down by subforum, date range, whether you started the thread or just posted, keyword and to show by post or thread title.

Thanks! I'm currently in Door County on a short trip so haven't been able to login much. The only spot in our room that has wifi is the balcony that overlooks the bay. How awful is that?
