Evenflo Titan Elite??

Does it really harness to 50lbs? Is this seat a good option? I have a friend who just had an accident and their insurance won't cover replacement seats. She wants to stay as cheap as possible, so she mentioned the Scenera for her 8 month old son. I suggested the Scenera, but also the ETA to her, but I noticed the Titan was $99 at BRU and thought maybe she would be able to swing that price a little better, but I haven't heard much about the seat. Should I suggest this seat to her, or just stick with the ETA?

Thanks. I didn't bother to tell her about the Titan Elite because I wasn't sure about the harness slots.

Thanks for the insurance link too. She doesn't have full coverage insurance though, and she rear ended someone. I'll pass the like along though.

The Titan Elite is a nice seat. I use it myself for a niece. She is 27lbs and 2 years old. She has plenty of room to grow =] Every child is different so for a small framed child it will fit to 50lbs. For a child that has a longer torso, it most likely isnt the best seat for them. The Evenflo Triumph Advance is a sure fit to 50lbs for just $30 more. Of course the best seat is the one that fits the child the best and the vehicle.

Most of us get 14.5 inches... a little shorter than the Scenera, a little taller than the Comfortsport. I disagree that any child could ever get to 50 pounds in it, it's way too short and way too narrow for any small/average 7 year old to fit in it (or even a short torsoed obese 3 year old :( ).
