I lurk a lot here but have never posted...
Anyway... our 3 month old is a seriously chunky large child and I've been really tired of lugging that bucket around PLUS, it's hard to get it into the car since we drive a '99 4 door Tercel and the handle hits the roof unless you tilt the seat. (Oh how I covet latch!)
So today was the day to swap seats around!!!
We picked up a Frontier and I tried it in the car hoping that it'd fit and sure enough, it installs rock solid with the lbp! Though I will say, that the belt is FULLY extended when you click it in before you pull the slack up. For a horrifying second I thought I wasn't going to be able to get it in. It actually went in pretty easily once I had re-read the instructions a few times to make sure I got it right.
Anyway... 3 month old DD is now rear facing in our Marathon and 3yr old DD (38 lbs without clothes and less than an inch away from her top slot in the Marathon) is now in a very nice Canyon Frontier.
Older DD loves having a cup holder (which only sorta makes up for the lack of a pink option.)
