Is there any car you certainly would NOT recommend the GN for?

I'm going over to help a friend with her seat today. I don't know yet what seat she has, I think it's a combination seat, though. Her son is around 3, and is forward facing. I wouldn't expect to be able to convince her to turn him rear at this point, but I do want to encourage keeping him harnessed for a good long while.
She drives a Suburban. Is a Nautilus most likely a safe bet, if he does need a new seat or if she just wants to get one?

Nautilus is a good choice.

The only thing I *wouldn't* recommend it for would be an extended cab truck with a shallow seat. One of the requirements for the Nauti is that the entire base is in contact with the vehicle seat.

If it's a car with a low roofline, like a swoopy roofed coupe, the GN might not fit in its tallest highback or harnessed mode. A GN owner measured it fully raised up to the tallest position for me a while back in another thread here, and it's approx. 36" tall overall which will touch the roof or be jammed up against a sloping rear window in some cars with limited rear headroom/swooping rear rooflines.

Yup. In our Prius, the Nautilus almost touches the roof in the outboard positions.

If your friend has a Suburban, though, it shouldn't be a problem at all. It should fit fine, and I don't imagine it would have install issues.
