Short Downtime

The forums will be down for a short time this weekend, probably Friday night or Saturday night. It should only be for an hour or so. The time will be used for some backups, maintenance and small updates. If you see the message indicating the forums are down, please check back again soon!

It will probably be tonight (Friday) around 10:30 PM central time. It should only last for an hour or so.

The chat room will be working during the downtime, but you may not be able to login while the forums are down. So, if you login to chat now, don't logout until the forums are back online!

Hey, I love it!!!! One question: how about toning down the cars in the banner to match the new colors of the forum?

ETA: Maybe one of these? They're just a little more muted than the primary colors of the current one.

Thanks also to Michelle (Shellebelle) for the great work with the new colors and updates! I'll leave it to her to consider a banner update.

When you do a search, the search results come back on the old default.

Don't forget that registered users can select the previous default colors by using the selection box on the left side of the bar at the bottom of each page. The old style is "Classic". The top vote-getter in Michelle's poll is also new and is called, "Shellebelle".

I think the forum looks great :thumbsup:

I find it hard to see what I am doing when I click on the tool bar on the quick links (same as the chat link) and then when you scroll down the selection, the blue writing goes off white and then you can't read the selection that you are on. Could that be changed?

Really, I think that the new look is great Thanks for the change and all the hard work that went into it

Ah I see what you mean. I'll check with Michelle to see if she knows the right entry for that color option.

Hmmm. Did something happen to the "Delete" feature? I tried deleting a thread just after starting it yesterday (wanted to move it to another forum actually), and I noticed that there was no "Delete" option as there was before. Also, I just noticed there's not a "Delete" option for deleting a post either. Am I looking in the wrong place/missing it, or is it gone? Thanks for checking!
