BLVD knob

Anyone else's knob come unthreaded? I try to turn it, and some times one of them just keeps spinning but not moving the headrest. Then it is way harder to turn the other one. I don't know what is causing it, and it makes me a little upset since I think more of Britax than this!

That can happen if someone turns the knob past the "all-the-way" point. The plastic threads inside the knob strip. It's an easy fix. Just call Britax for a new knob. They were free last time I checked, but that was 3-4 years ago. (about the time the WZ came out)

Mine did that. When I uninstalled the seat for something I could see how the system worked and I was able to get it rethreaded properly. Now sometimes one pops off but I just adjust with the other and then tighten that first one back on when I'm done.

Just one of my Wizards does this, not the other, and neither of our Advantages did that.

Mine did that almost right after I bought it. I figured out that I had it smooshed too tightly against the backseat. It was trying to move up, but couldn't because it was smooshed. We have a 2000 Toyota Camry. So, I uninstalled it, and changed it, and reinstalled it. It's a pain to have to take it out of the car, but it is a rock solid install, so I didn't want to loosen it at all just to be able to move the harness slots.

Yeah, mine has done it from the very beginning. It used to be in the middle and the knobs were hitting the front seats. It think that may be what did it.

I guess I will try to order new knobs at some point!
