I just bought a Britax Pioneer booster and as I unboxed it, I noticed that the impact absorbing base is not static. There’s a little “give”, as in slight up and down movement, around the red honeycomb-looking areas. I was wondering do this is normal (part of the technology that allows the base to compress in a crash) or if I have a damaged seat. Britax customer service isn’t open today so I thought I’d pose the question here. Thanks!
