Hi, I bought a car seat 5 1/2 years ago for my grand daughter. We did not take it out of the box for the 1st 1 1/2 years of her life. We only used it maybe once a month until she was old enough for a booster seat. We know have our 3 year old grandson in it. I was wondering if it is still safe to use for him another year. It has always been in a vehicle that is parked in our garage so it hasn't not be sun/heat or cold damaged

Hi there.

What seat is it? The expiration date is either stamped on the plastic of the shell, or is in the manual.
