Can't seem to get a good fit!

I drive a 2007 chevy equinox and we have the safety 1st grow and go. We get the tightest with the seat belt with shoulder strap but then tilts and we can't even get close to a tight fit with the latch. Even when my husband tightens it as much as he can, it is tight where the base is but on one side it's like I can still push it over. I'm so frustrated!!

Hi there.

Is the seat rear facing or forward? Are you installing in the middle or on the side? When you install with the seatbelt, do you lock the belt? Are you testing for movement at the belt path only?
