Question Honda HRV HELP

We have a 2016 Honda HRV and we can't get any infant or convertible car seat to work. Daughters baby due in August. We've tried many different brands. Please help with any suggestions. If we move front seats up then it's not safe or comfortable for adults. HELP!!!

We went to babies r us and tried every car seat and nothing really works unless you have the passenger seat up then NO one can sit in the passenger seat. We ended up buying the Graco contender car seat. It's sad when you have a new car and can't get the car seat to fit correctly. So I will be riding in the back with baby bc when my husband's drives the passenger seat will always have to be pushed up and it wouldn't be safe for anyone to ride in front passenger seat.

We did also purchase the graco infant travel system with base and that car seat too has a hard time fitting correcting.

I have a Fit, which the HRV shares a platform with, and unfortunately I have not found a rear facing seat that can be installed without shoving the front seats forward

My best luck has been a baseless Snugride in the center - even then I had to slide my seat a click forward and I'm only 5'-2".

Something like a Coccoro might work? Are those even still made?

What about a Scenera Next? When my youngest was 5 months we had a 4 hour drive with a friend in her Fit. My baby was in a Boulevard G4.1 behind the passenger. My friend's mom was still able to sit in the front seat with a decent amount of comfort.

Yeah, a Scenera NEXT can fit just about anywhere as long as the baby can sit up independently.

The Chicco Key fit 30 fits behind the passenger. Passenger seat is somewhat uncomfortable for my 6’ husband but he usually drives when we’re all in the car together anyway. Now I have to look for a convertible seat that will fit or else think about upgrading to the CRV
