Canada Rear facing in Mazda CX5 - Canada

Hello. Can anyone offer suggestions for a convertible seat for a 2016 Mazda CX-5? For a 19lb 26 inch one year old? The back seat is kind of small so a seat that takes up less room would be ideal. The infant seat only fits because the driver is short so her seat is up quite far. Mom found a cute Britax Safecell. Does anyone know how that would fit front to back? Or if there is another seat that has been known to work well. Thanks is advance!

Re: Rear facing in Mazda CX5

    Hi there.

For such a petite child, nearly anything would work. I'm not sure which Britax you had in mind, but it'll fit. They all will. None need a newborn angle now.

    What's a comfortable budget?

Thanks for replying It's been so long since my kids were rear facing and I had a relative ask me for help. I'm just not sure what is available anymore. Can you tell me if any seats are able to touch the vehicle seat in front of it? Specifically the Britax Boulevard? Or if there are others that allow for it? Budget is not an issue. I was just worried about having enough front to back room.
