My 6.5 year old daughter is 48" tall and 72lbs...she is currently in a Britax parkway high back booster on the tallest position (she is extremely long-waisted). She has a very solid body type but she's not chubby, just very solid. The seat has never seemed to fit her very well, and I'm wondering if she'd be safer without the back on the seat? She doesn't sleep in the car, and we have 3 across (her twin in the same seat) in a Tahoe. Any suggestions?
(Her twin is the same height, but has long legs instead of a long torso, and is 20 pounds lighter, so the seat fits her well)
