My 2.5 yr old's head is around half an inch from the top of the car seat shell. My Britax Advocate G4 was produced 06/2014 and suggests rear facing "when the top of child's head is at least 1 in below the top of the child seat shell".
It will seat children rear facing up to 40 lbs and he is only 34 lbs, so good for the weight. The wording is a bit ambiguous in my opinion. Should I be switching him around since he is half an inch from the top of the shell? (He is good on the shoulder line though)
Any advice is appreciated- thank you!
