Booster questions

When did you booster full time?
My kiddo is 5.75 years old, 44" and 45lb. We had a minivan where he would occasionally booster. I sold it and got a 2012 VW Jetta. It's so much smaller (I love it)! With the headrests it pushes his booster forward. With his britax pioneer it fits nice and doesn't push it like that. Is their a booster that has a back similar to the pioneer? Clek? Any input?

The Clek Oobr allows use with only the top in contact in recline mode only if you have lower anchors in use. It's often a good option for these headrests though.

I'm thinking there is one other that sometimes works but I can't recall whether it's a Recaro or something else...

Can you use the Pioneer in booster mode?

The Evenflo Amp styles should work well. The headrests sit kind of like the ones on the Pioneer.
